Dr. Settle is a pioneer in the emerging field of Integrative Psychiatry. She draws from a broad range of treatment modalities to create treatment plans to address the root causes of stubborn symptoms. Treatment modalities include: herbs and other supplements, diet, hormones, lifestyle changes, mind-body techniques, psychotherapies and pharmaceuticals. Symptoms addressed include mood changes, anxiety/panic, insomnia, fatigue, weight gain, cognitive challenges. Root causes addressed include: hormone imbalance, gut/GI trouble including IBS, adrenal, thyroid, mold exposure, and inflammation, particularly neuro-inflammation and the gut-brain connection.
